I now have both Black and White Ring sights. The White is very cool and appears to have a slightly larger field of view. I think that it would be great with the REM3 as I have seen it once and I liked the platform.
I just got a new Black Ring sight and I love the dark reticle as it is very easy to pick up in daylight conditions, however I don't find it as easy to pick up in darkness as the white ring sight. I suspect the REM3 would make a very nice addition to this sight too. However if no REM3 were to be used, would I not be correct in thinking the Black sight would be a decent overall optic?
Opinions?

Oh yes.... is my imagination that the Black is a slightly smaller field of view of the two?

Re: Just got a Black Ring sight
The Black sight does have a slightly smaller FOV then the White one. Both sights are terrible in low light or night shooting. I find the Black ring sight better in the day (sunny or cloudy) then the White. The Black one is better then the White. Remember to shoot with both eyes open. It was designed that way.
The REM T3 fixes the White sight problem in ALL light conditions. (snaps in place)
The REM T3b fixes the Black sight problem in ALL light conditions. ( must be permenantly installed). I do the install for free. The procedure takes about 30 minutes.
Just send me the Ring Sight and I can take care of it. :thumb:
Let me know which one you want or you can get one for each.
