Platforms like FB, Instagram, Twitter pretty much killed off forums like this.
Due to anti-gun policies, folks disgust with those platforms, and the realization that none of those platform offer the repository of long term data, or free speech, forums like this one have seen an up tick in traffic.
With this increase in traffic, forums will never be as big as in the past, but they are returning to importance, the need to update and upgrade the forum has arisen.
This is in the works as we are actively searching out a company or individual PHPB wiz to do all the updates.
In the past we have never ran ads, spam banners etc. We were 100% member supported.
How to pay for these updates has become an issue as old plans etc need to be looked at.
One of the past ways was raffles of products like EA amo.
So please be patient with us as we address these issues.

Gold Membership is a $25 donation. This grants access to a special paid subscriber forum, a Gold Member user title, avatar, and a signature line for a period of one year.

You now have the option of subscriptions. Your card will be charged once a year for the subscription you chose. No need to worry about your Paid membership expiring.
